Please register your interest in attending the 5th Fixed Seat European Rowing Championships that will be held inTaranto, Puglia, Italy on 1 October 2022.
SARC has attended earlier iterations of the event before COVID – great fun.
The organisers include a training day in the local boats ( a cox and 4 rowers) that are used for the races on the Friday before the event.
Entry to the event is free and includes:
- Transfer from and to BARI or BRINDISI airport (available from Wednesday 28th September to Monday 3rd October)
- Transfer from and to hotels offering special room rates after FRIDAY dinner and after SATURDAY race available
- Free boats use
- Assistance from Italian coaches
- Friday official gala dinner
- Saturday farewell party after the prize giving ceremony
Rowers will be responsible for travel to and from Bari or Brindisi and for accommodation costs. Practically arrival is on Thursday (29 September) and departure on Sunday (2 October).
