To participate in club activities, you must join (after an initial trial). This means that you will be insured to row with us. You should also have access to a, or own your own, life jacket for Sea rowing and some river rowing (e.g. when river is in flood). The decision of the type of life jacket is yours. Most of us have ‘gas’ manual life jackets (to stop them inflating if you get covered with a wave). However some chose to buy auto inflating jackets.

The company advises that where lights are ordered with a jacket their technicians will fit them free of charge (you may want to call to check this happens) . The bluewave light is very small and light in weight
